In clause 5.2.a Infrastructure Australia’s function is

“to conduct audits to determine the adequacy, capacity and condition of nationally significant infrastructure, taking into account forecast growth;”

Back to the 2004 future, but with double the oil price

The Energy Information Administration has now released the crude oil data for December 2009. That allows us to do an annual graph to watch the race for the peak (in terms of annual production).

Data are often revised backward for several years but at present it seems 2005 was still the peak year at 73,719 million [...]

Australian crude oil production to decline by 85% over the next 10 years

On 1st March 2010, the Federal Government published a new Australian Energy Resource Assessment (AERA)[1].  In chapter 3 on oil it contains a graph on future oil production on page 79.
